Selma - Film Screening

The PSEG Foundation True Diversity Film Series Presents a Free Screening of "Selma"

Directed by Ava DuVernay, Selma tells the story of the historic equal voting rights march from Selma to Montgomery, Ala. in 1965, a campaign that culminated in the presidential signing of the Voting Rights Act. The film’s stars include David Oyelowo (Martin Luther King, Jr.), Tom Wilkinson (President Lyndon B. Johnson), Tim Roth (George Wallace), Carmen Ejogo (Coretta Scott King), and Common (James Bevel). The True Diversity Films series screens films and hosts talkbacks that explore the deeper issues surrounding diversity than just the standard gender, race and religion.
